On a cold and windy Fall day, I go canoe fishing for Bluegill. I use the Humminbird Fishin Buddy depth finder to help me target the elusive fish in choppy waters.

Still, it is a nice time to go fishing, enjoy the Autumn leaves, see a big family of swan, see a turtle and watch the beautiful sunset. Plus, what does my cat see? Check it all out in my video!

This episode is filmed in the Winter which can be tough for fishing in general. It is a 48-degree day, and I challenge myself to try to catch a Carp, which are a big-sized fish, from my canoe. Can I catch a carp with stealth, persistence and a lot of patience? Check out my video :)

Plus, I see a cluster of noisy blackbirds in the trees.

When I began fishing as a youngling, I always wondered if fish hide for cover from the bad weather. In this episode, I challenge myself to catch fish on a cold, windy, overcast day, in the fall time. I use the good old live nightcrawler with the intent to catch Carp, which taunt me, but I get surprised by catching a nice-sized White Perch and a Big Bass in a shallow flat part of the lake.

Plus, as a birdwatcher, I like seeing so many Starling birds, feeding and flying in a cluster, this time of year. And I am blessed with a double rainbow in the end!

Over the frigid winter, my turtle caught a cold. If your pet turtle is sneezing, that is bad news, because that means it has a cold. It could turn into a lung infection if not treated early. And unfortunately, there is no home remedy to a cure the problem. In a video, I show you how to bring it back to a healthy happy turtle.

Don’t worry this story has a happy ending. Check out my short video.

Happy Easter Everybody!

This is my little drawing of a Red-Eared Turtle, commonly found in the fresh waters of North America. It is inspired by my pet turtles.

It has been a rather cold winter and I made a short video of How to Keep Your Turtle Warm. If you have pet reptiles and an aquarium too, please feel free to check it out: https://youtu.be/yJQiEjiZ5bY

Let me know what you think :)

Autumn will come and go like a distant memory. Before we know it, the winter chill is upon us.

I did this drawing of a skull in perspective, and then color painted it in Photoshop.

As I’m on a trip, away from my pencils and brushes, the camera will be my source of creativity.  Here are a few photos I took during my ski trip in Mammoth.

Happy Halloween.

still chilly

April 21, 2009

Although the trees are starting to bloom, there’s still a chill in the air.  The cats roll up like sow bugs to keep warm.
