Hi all. Winter is here. I hope you are all are getting outside despite chill in the air. As for me, I am still trying to do paddling and fishing in the cold.

can my fish finder help target fall bluegill in choppy water?

On a cold and windy Fall day, I go canoe fishing for Bluegill. I use the Humminbird Fishin Buddy depth finder to help me target the elusive fish in choppy waters.

Still, it is a nice time to go fishing, enjoy the Autumn leaves, see a big family of swan, see a turtle and watch the beautiful sunset. Plus, what does my cat see? Check it all out in my video!

kokopelli packraft: i try paddling, fishing & birdwatching in the small boat

Here is a mini adventure where I show you what it is like paddling in a Kokopelli Rogue Lite Packraft, and I try to catch fish from it (although they are tiny). Plus, there are so many birds at the lake, so let’s do some birdwatching and enjoy nature.

curse of the weedy lake fishing (halloween special) & let’s go to comic con

In this Halloween special episode, I go paddling with my friend at a lake that is beautiful, but is very weedy for fishing. I try to break THE CURSE of being skunked at this lake before, by using shallow swimming lures, including a mini chatterbait and a tiny crankbait. As a bonus, let’s watch the stunning fall foliage, shop at a local farmers market and go to New York Comicon!

tiny berkley powerbait trout nibbles for nice bluegill AND big bass?

While canoe fishing, I try out Berkley Powerbait Trout Nibbles, in chartreuse color, for Bluegill. I am pleasantly surprised that a couple of Big Bass are interested in the tiny dough bait too! Plus, I get a sighting of a Kingfisher and American Coot birds on the lake.

Summer is almost over but fishing is still hot, and so is the weather. After a recent rainstorm, I test out the Berkley Gulp Alive Jigging Grubs to see if it can catch Bluegill in dark dirty water. video: tiny broken bait still catches multi-species fish

Artificial baits fall apart after awhile from fighting fish, naturally. Baits are not cheap. I dislike losing money AND wasting lures, so I continue to use the broken grub. Not every bait has to have a curly tail to catch fish. In this episode, I demonstrate how effective a tiny piece of grub can still catch multi-species and a big bass! Check my video!

relaxing canoe spring fishing for bass + fox babies

Let just have fun doing simple canoe fishing at a remote lake, and escape the noisy city. We can do relaxing fishing for bass and enjoy the sounds of nature, from frogs croaking to birds singing. seek first bass of the year, a young raccoon and here comes the rain

In Spring, it is great time to fish for spawning species such as White Perch and Largemouth Bass. I go canoe fishing in hopes to catch the big ones by using hard baits, including the Rapala Rippin Rap, Johnson Beetle Spin and Yozuri Jerkbait. Plus, I see a cute young raccoon that is exploring the river’s edge, and then the rainstorm comes. Check out my latest video!
