Hello all. I have a cartoon series called Shorthair. It features my three pet characters, who are best friends and experience adventures. I will be releasing more merch and content soon.

Introducing… my cartoon in card form! In this set of 4 greetings cards, a cat, a dog and a turtle, dream of delicious foods. Originally, intended for Lunar New Year, it is also perfect for traditional New Years, special events or simply a foodie lover you may know.

Hey all. It’s been a cold fall/winter but that doesn’t mean the fishing fun should stop. In my spare time, I like to draw, and I did a Largemouth Bass illustration. I made it into cool stickers. Check it out. The stickers are available for sale, in my shop. Free shipping! You can apply it to your water bottle, notebook cover or, of course, the bumper of your car. The possibilities are endless. It’s perfect as a gift for someone who enjoys fishing or simply a nature lover. Have a happy holiday!

I did a drawing of a fish. It’s the Bluegill, the most popularly known of the sunfish species. If you do freshwater fishing or simply walk along the water’s edge, chances are the fish you will see is the Bluegill. Although smallish, these sunfish are quite aggressive and will guard their space or nest vigorously by dashing at a trespasser. But most of the time, they look so peaceful as they hover calmly just below the water surface of lake and river.

I was so happy with the way my drawing came out that I made them into stickers. They come in a set of 4, and are a nice jumbo size of 6 x 3.5 inches. To show you are a fan of bluegills, fishing or nature, in general, you can apply them to your favorite water bottle, notebook cover and of course, a car bumper. People spotting the sticker will be very jealous.

If you followed me and my blog for a long time, you know I started it to share my Outdoor & Nature artwork. Over time, my blog morphed into a way to show my Outdoor, Nature & Fishing videos. Regretfully, creating videos and editing takes so much time, and so my art suffered. I hope to throttle back on videos and squeak in my art again, if I can. Essentially, I want to try to alternate and do both of my creative hobbies for my blog website, going forward. To get to the point, it has been a while since I created a drawing and posted it, so here goes.

Red-Eared Sliders are beloved gentle creatures commonly found in the fresh water lakes and rivers of North America. I depict the turtle in its favorite environment, lakeside, relaxing during the day and basking under the sunlight. This print is perfect for someone who is a turtle-lover or simply a nature-lover in general.

My turtle print is now available on Etsy, in my store. This is a 11 x 17 print of my original illustration with a 2-inch white border. The paper size is 13 x 19. Ready for framing.

drawing: giant tortoise

I’ve been meaning to draw a Galapagos Turtle for a while. Here, the Giant Tortoise finds a lone berry tree. The tree is just big enough as a snack for this big turtle’s appetite.
