video: small vs big lure challenge
August 9, 2020
Which lure catches more fish, a small or big crankbait? I do a personal challenge by using both a micro Bagley Rattlin Honey B and a Rapala BX Brat, and see which gets more Bass and Bluegill. Note: This is not a scientific test, but just having a fun activity while fishing.

video: using a depth finder to locate fishing spots
August 2, 2020
If you go to a lake or river that you are not familiar with, using a fish finder is a useful tool. It helps to let you know how deep the water is, what the structure is below, and the temperature, not to mention if there are fish in the area. Today, I use the Humminbird Fish Finder and see if I can find some good spots to catch fish.
See how I use a depth finder in action in my video :) Also, in this video, I catch the biggest Pumpkinseed Sunfish!
video: do panfish go for these realistic-looking worms?
July 18, 2020
On a summer day, I fish (catch and release) for Panfish, such as Bluegill and Crappie, using a realistic-looking worm. I test the product to see if the plastic bait, called Berkley Gulp Nightcrawlers, actually work to attract fish. Watch my video and find out :)
In this video, I fish so late into the evening that the Geese fly home and the Bats come out!
video: drifting for bluegill in small creek
July 4, 2020
Here is a lazy weekend video, simple fishing for Bluegill in a small creek. During this outing, I get some nice surprises. My first Green Sunfish which looks like a miniature version of a Largemouth Bass. It is a new species for me. And I get a nice-sized Smallmouth Bass, hiding among the school of bluegill.
Plus, I see an Egret bird with a fish catch of its own, a baby catfish. The catfish is a little too big to fit in the egret’s throat. Oops!
Feel free to check out my video :)
Happy 4th of July, everybody!
video: do fish like pink worms? + the upside down goose
June 20, 2020
While canoe fishing, I try out a product that is an artificial worm that is colored hot pink. Do you think fish like the color pink? It even has a scent of bubble gum flavor. Yum! You have to see it to believe it.
Plus, I see a funny sight. Did you know a goose can flip upside down?
Check out my video and enjoy!
video: how i clip my cats nails
June 14, 2020
And now for something completely different. I made a video of How I Cut My Cat’s Nails. My video channel is mostly about the Outdoors & Nature, so I would like to categorize this one under Animals & Nature? Anyway, I usually spend a lot of time editing my stories, but this cat video is rather straight forward of me talking with my cats.
This is my contribution to the world that always needs fun cat videos. Check out my short video . Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
video: young bald eagle sighting & dropshot fishing
May 30, 2020
Bald Eagles are making a comeback, including in my area. I get a sighting of family of eagles, the mother and its offspring. Interestingly, the young eagle looks a little odd because it does not have a bald crown like an adult. The young has a blotchy feather pattern.
Plus, while fishing from the river edge, I use worms on the drop shot rig, and experiment with different lengths. between the hook and sinker. Success depends on the depth, structure and the kind of fish you are seeking.
Is the drop shot with worms effective for catching fish? What kind of fish am I able to catch on this presentation? Watch my short video and find out :) Thanks for watching and enjoy!
