One of my favorite memories as a kid was when my father would take us on road trips. This was the cozy little RV (pictured) that we would travel in. We went to places like Monterey, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas. The trip we made the most to, however, was Yosemite (as seen in my previous video post Yosemite – Bike & Camp).

I would sleep and stay in the nook above the drivers seat. When my father started driving, I opened up the drapes. The adventure would begin. The wonderful views of the world passed right before my eyes as I peaked through the top window. It makes me warm and fuzzy again just drawing it on paper, reminiscing about it.

Would you like to take a road trip in my tiny trailer?

Do you have a favorite memory of traveling in your youth? Let me know :)

Do you watch River Monsters? Well, here is my version of that show. I call it Tiny River Monster. In this episode, I feature the small but aggressive predatory fish, the White Perch. During my quest, I endure cold rain. Fish behaviors change drastically during the Fall. With the help of some bird activity, I am able to find where the fish are. Check out my video :)  Enjoy!

Whenever I prepare my gear to go fishing, my cat likes to watch me. Not just because there is line involved, but because my tackle makes little clicking sounds I guess. So I make a fishing pole cat toy for play. He likes fishing too! Check out my short video :) Today, I go for pan fish including Bluegill, Yellow Perch and Crappie.

It’s a long holiday weekend, so get out and enjoy!

The whole concept of downsizing and having a smaller footprint on this beautiful planet intrigues a growing population of homeowners. Not to mention, a life without a 30-year mortgage sounds likes music to our ears. Right?

I made my Tiny House drawings into postcards. If you like collecting postcards or simply love tiny houses, check them out at my tiny store  at designosaurus.etsy.com.

Happy Earth Day everybody!

This is the biggest of my tiny house drawings, so far. Complete with a nice deck, super high ceilings and plenty of windows for natural light!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everybody!

When it comes to tiny houses, less is more. This is the smallest of them all at 125 square feet, having a minute footprint for Earth Day and every day if you can live in one. It’s basically a shack with windows and a door. No room for a loft and no room for a toilet. Only room enough for a composting toilet in the corner. Can you handle using a composting toilet ?
