red breast sunfish fun, mini plastic worm for bass test & watch the supermoon

I found 3-Inch Senkos in the bargain bin, and then they ended up lost at the bottom of my tackle box… until now. While canoe/kayak panfishing, I test out the miniature green pumpkin (brown) senkos to see if Smallmouth are interested in them. Plus, let’s enjoy the beauty of the giant Supermoon.

relaxing canoe spring fishing for bass + fox babies

Let just have fun doing simple canoe fishing at a remote lake, and escape the noisy city. We can do relaxing fishing for bass and enjoy the sounds of nature, from frogs croaking to birds singing. video: hike to creek & catch a new species (my first sucker fish)

On a nice sunny day, take a trail hike with me to the creek. In the first half of my video, I experiment with a little ASMR-type relaxing hiking and fishing, with much talking. Then the action starts, I use Blue Fox Vibrax Spinner and a live worm on a circle hook to catch Smallmouth Bass. With daylight quickly disappearing, I try my best to catch one more fish, and it ends up to be a new species, my first Sucker Fish!

For fishing, I mainly use Daiwa reels, which is my favorite, but I want to try a different, yet comparable spinning reel by the brand Lews. bite-sized fishing: find multi-species on a rainy day

It has been a very rainy Spring and on a drizzly overcast day, the fish are hiding from another oncoming storm. As I am tired of waiting for a sunny day, I take the challenge to locate fish, from my canoe/kayak, and end up getting small fish, but it is multi-species fun action! Plus, while on the water, I love seeing turtles, and I get pretty close to an eagle.

video: in fall, fish habits change and so should your fishing approach

Fall time is tricky because fishing patterns are different due to the big drop in water temperature. If you find fish movement is different, then so should your plan of attack too. Keep changing your approach and location until you find out what the fish want and where they are.

I have a slow start to my canoe/kayak fishing outing, but eventually break from my own comfort zone. In the end, I am happy to get a nice Chain Pickerel and some Bass, small and big.

Also, in this video, I meet some carp fishermen and help them get their gear back. And just in time for Halloween, I find a strange-looking Praying Mantis!

As the Summer ends and Fall begins, the water temperature cools, affecting the normal habits of Bass. Bass disperse, perhaps going deep or relocating elsewhere. In this video, I explore the water as a personal challenge, in my canoe/kayak, to see if fish can still be found.

video: ned rig soft plastic is perfect size for fishing

What makes the Ned Rig so successful? The secret is in the short, but fat size of the soft plastic which is perfect, under 3-iinches, for catching Bass and even aggressive Sunfish. Instead of using the rubber worm in the traditional Ned Rig method, I simply put the bait on a weedless Keitech hook and just watch the fish jump on it!

Plus, in this video, I get my first sighting of a live eel. A very interesting looking creature to see in person.
