Dear fellow trekkies and adventurers of all kinds.

I can’t let this week beam by me without doing a little drawing in honor of the Star Trek universe. The tv show (namely, the original series, The Next Generation and Voyager), and the movies have inspired my imagination for so many years.

My sketch shows the classic Enterprise traveling at warp factor 9.

As always, New York Comic Con was a blast, be it a crowded venue. Suprisingly to me, as a casual gamer, there were no booths for Microsoft Xbox, Sony Playstation or Rockstar Games like previous years. Nintendo did have plenty of representation with stations featuring their Wii U, DS, Mario and Donkey Kong lines. Still, with less video gaming stuff, that gave me more time to browse comics, toys, collectibles, meet other artists and take photographs. Here are some pics I want to share with you.

I took these photos of the Space Shuttle Enterprise being piggy-backed over the Hudson, in lower Manhattan.  It is on its way to JFK airport.  Sometime in June, the shuttle will be ferried to the Intrepid aircraft carrier on the West Side.  Feel free to download as wallpaper.
