The Florida Everglades is home to many unique fauna and flora. I created a 2-D diorama illustration, featuring nature that is native to the wetlands. The print size is 11×17 on 13×19 paper. It includes the Alligator, birds, turtles and fish. All thriving along the Mangroves.

As a bonus, there is an accompanying animal identification chart on 8 x 10 size print, naming the Everglades flora and fauna. I was inspired by seeing museum dioramas of animal life in their environment. I match them up by shape and numbers. The print is available at my shop. Check it out :)

This is the last element in the Everglades outdoor and nature series. I hope you enjoyed my videos and artwork!

By the way, can you name any of the animals in the drawing?

The whole concept of downsizing and having a smaller footprint on this beautiful planet intrigues a growing population of homeowners. Not to mention, a life without a 30-year mortgage sounds likes music to our ears. Right?

I made my Tiny House drawings into postcards. If you like collecting postcards or simply love tiny houses, check them out at my tiny store  at designosaurus.etsy.com.

Happy Earth Day everybody!

When it comes to tiny houses, less is more. This is the smallest of them all at 125 square feet, having a minute footprint for Earth Day and every day if you can live in one. It’s basically a shack with windows and a door. No room for a loft and no room for a toilet. Only room enough for a composting toilet in the corner. Can you handle using a composting toilet ?

Based on a real creature from the deepest realm of the sea, this illustration is of an angler fish, and an unsuspecting little guy.

Happy Earth Day, by the way. Let’s do something to help our environment, such as recycle our disposables properly, or bike to our destinations more. Continue good habits every day! Do environmentally sound things so that all creatures, great and small, can live on as naturally as possible.

Have you done something for Earth today?
