While fishing, I come across an odd sight. Did you know squirrels can swim? My video features me trying to catch a big Northern Pike, and seeing a family of cute baby skunks up close :)  Check it out and enjoy!

video: tiny river monster

October 20, 2018

I did a short video which has a touch of Halloween in it, called Tiny River Monster: Red Breast Sunfish. It is my little spoof on the series that appears on Nat Geo. (My video even includes an instrumental song I composed which seems to fit perfectly to the scary theme.) Happy Halloween!

This is my drawing of a Largemouth Bass. It was a long cold winter, but now it is Spring and he is very hungry.

Please also check out my latest short video where I attend a Fishing Show and share my Top 5 Picks for kayaking and fishing. And let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/MBc4oGDfgU4

With the dog days of summer upon us, it is definitely a good time to get outdoors. My sketch today shows a bass pro angler in action, getting on a lunker of a fish.

Happy 4th of July everybody!

Rainbow trout were originally abundant only in North American rivers, then they were introduced to other waters around the world due to its delicious taste and challenge as a fighting game fish. Rainbow trout are generally a smaller cousin to the Salmon fish. They thrive in cold clear water. When you see the presence of trout in a river by you, it is a good indicator that the river is healthy, clean and pristine.

My rainbow trout illustration is done in watercolor.
