Florida is a haven for exotic wildlife. What animal do you think of when you think of Florida? Perhaps Alligators? Here’ s my drawing of an Alligator relaxing in the mangroves. Does it look like a happy gator?

In my video, I visit the Everglades, a massive preserve of beautiful nature. And since Florida is also known for its amazing fishing. I find a spot to fish. I am ecstatic because with almost every cast, I get a Bass. Meanwhile, I have to watch out for hungry Alligators lurking nearby! The Largemouth I catch are medium-sized. I don’t get the quality big ones, but I do get the quantity.

Check out my video on Exploring the Everglades: Fishing with Hungry Alligators Nearby.

This is part 1 of 2 on my trip to the Everglades. Part 2 will be about some facts on the National Park and my search for more amazing wildlife, such as exotic birds, more alligators and of course, turtles!

This is my first combo-post of my art and video creation :)
(I briefly feature my art in the video too)

Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

  1. OMG I LOVED the Everglades!

  2. Crikey Mate, thats one nasty Croc, I mean Gator. I really like how you got the roots of the cypres trees under the water.

Nice illustration – in your drawing the alligator looks so relaxed and almost friendly, looking at you as if it’s just out of curiosity, but I guess it must be a wild experience to see an alligator in person. Wasn’t it scary?

Thank you Yul! I was kinda hoping to make the gator not look menacing. Ha ha. Being that close to an apex predator IS surreal. I found that if you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you. Thanks for visiting!
