illustration: classic bicycle with basket

Here is an illustration of a classic bicycle with a basket. As a small modification, the basket of the model bike was originally made of metal, but I changed it to be wooden. Just to give it a softer Summer feel.
On the same subject of cycling, the car-free biking event, Summer Streets, is happening in New York City. It is three Saturdays in a row – August 7, 14 and 21. This recent weekend, I rode the path from Central Park down to the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a wonderful experience to ride in the middle of Manhattan without the chaos of taxis and auto traffic.

PlantBasedDietAdventures, yes, it is pretty neat. It’s become so popular that it is now an annual biking event.
